2010 Mid-Week Lenten Worship - Wednesdays, 7:30 P.M. - February 24th through March 31st - Prodigal God by Timothy Keller - Luke 15: 1-3, 11-32 - Newsweek called renowned minister Timothy Keller “a C. S. Lewis for the twenty-first century” in a feature on his first book, The Reason for God. In that book, he offered a rational explanation of why we should believe in God. Now, in The Prodigal God, he uses one of the best-known Christian parables to reveal an unexpected message of hope and salvation. Taking his trademark intellectual approach to understanding Christianity, Keller uncovers the essential message of Jesus, locked inside his most familiar parable. Within that parable Jesus reveals God's prodigal grace toward all people, challenging us to look again at our relationship with the Lord in a whole new way. Each evening’s time together (following our soup supper that begins at 6:30…if you are interested) will consist of a worship and combination of a video presentation, a brief message, and group discussion.
